SUBJECT: GSU HEALTH AND DENTAL INSURANCE REFERENDUM RESULT
FROM: GSU HEALTH AND DENTAL COMMITTEE
This document outlines changes proposed by GSU Health and Dental committee based on results of the recent referendum. In August, 2022, another meeting between GSU and CFS was held to discuss this issue and identify other options where the premiums could be kept the same. In response, the GSC and CFS came up with a proposal that included three different insurance plan options. To decide which plan is best for MUNL graduate students, we held a referendum between Oct 08th and 15th, 2022. The decision of referendum turned out to be plan A with increased premium, the difference in terms of residual fee will be applied to student accounts retroactively.
