Hello Students, my name is Shyam Yadav and I am currently pursuing MASc in Energy Systems Engineering.

It gives me immense pleasure to address you all, after being elected as the Executive Director of External Affairs (EDEA) at GSU MUN. The trust and the mandate that you have bestowed upon me is indeed humbling and a great responsibility on my shoulders.

I am aware that this position comes with a set of challenges and expectations that I am willing to fulfil to the best of my abilities. As the Executive Director of External Affairs, my foremost priority would be to develop and maintain strong relationships with our graduate students and make sure that every voice on campus is heard, I will also make sure that the graduate students will enjoy all the academic facilities including all the events related to their study.

I aim to bring a fresh perspective to the table through innovative diplomacy and strategic interventions. We shall engage with School of Graduate Studies (SGS), Graduate student Development fund (GSDF), Canadian Federation of Students (CFS) in a proactive and collaborative manner to advance our GSU goals and create a better working environment.
