She participated in many sessions and conversations covering various topics such as climate change, conservation efforts and importance, the need for environmental equity and helped lead a session. She is currently the professional development coordinator for the Biology Graduate Student Association (BGSA). She planned and led a workshop on info graphics throughout the fall and showed excellent tools for students to convey complicated research topics. She was also asked to be a part of a NEXUS brown bag lunch panel on info graphics and data visualization to share that presentation.
