About
Hello everyone,
My name is Azmat Ullah, and I am a Computer Science Graduate student at Memorial University Newfoundland.
It gives me great pleasure and honour to take on the role of GSU's Executive Director of Campus Life for the 2024–2025 academic year. My main goal during this work period is to plan events that will support your recreational and professional development. My goal is to make sure every student at our university is at ease and feels like they belong on campus. Although I am aware that graduate school can be difficult, I want to make sure you have fun and have opportunities to advance your career while attending the university. I think that both academic achievement and personal development depend on having a healthy and diverse campus community.
For the current and upcoming year, I have a tonne of programmes and events planned, and I encourage you to take advantage of them. Sports competitions, social clubs, volunteer opportunities, field trips and movie nights—I'll have something for everyone. Our programmes would represent the diversity of our campus community.
GSU Campus Life aims to establish a welcoming and supportive environment for all graduate students. I firmly believe that we can assist you in reaching your objectives by providing a variety of events and activities. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out to me at campuslife@gsumun.ca.
