I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Executive Director of Campus Life at GSU! With a strong commitment to collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation, I bring a vision where every graduate and undergraduate student feels valued, heard, and engaged.

Bridging the Gap: Stronger Ties Between GSU & MUN Authorities

One of my key priorities is strengthening communication between GSU and MUN administration. By fostering a transparent and proactive dialogue, we can address student concerns more effectively, advocate for better resources, and create policies that reflect student needs.

Engaging Graduate Students from Day One

Many graduate students feel disconnected from campus life. As Executive Director, I will implement targeted outreach strategies to ensure they feel welcomed and included. Through social events, networking opportunities, and workshops on work-life balance and mental health, I will create spaces where all students can connect beyond academics.

Ensuring More Campus Jobs for Graduate Students

Financial stability is crucial for student success. I will actively advocate for increased campus employment opportunities for graduate students, ensuring they gain valuable experience while easing financial burdens.

Strengthening Connections Across All Memorial University Campuses

A vibrant student experience should extend beyond St. John’s. I will work to bridge the gap between GSU and all Memorial University campuses, including St. John’s, Grenfell, Marine Institute, and Harlow. We can create a more united and engaging university community through shared initiatives and joint events.

Bridging Students & Alumni for Career Success

Career success begins with strong professional networks. I will build connections between students and GSU alumni by establishing mentorship programs, networking events, and career-building opportunities. By leveraging alum expertise, we can help students navigate career paths and secure more job opportunities.

Maximizing Awareness & Participation in Campus Life

The best events are only effective when students know about them! I will enhance promotional strategies by leveraging social media and direct collaboration with clubs and societies to ensure all students receive timely updates.

A Campus Where Every Student’s Voice Matters

No student should ever feel like an outsider. I will ensure that all students feel welcomed and encouraged to join clubs and societies regardless of background. We can build a genuinely interconnected campus life by promoting inclusivity and breaking down barriers.
